Street Vibrations 2 Years, 5 Months ago
How many of you guys are going to Street Vibrations in Reno this month? I just booked my hotel... used priceline to bid and got my room for $40, so it came out to $97 for two nights. NOT BAD. Looking forward to the event, I always have a blast out there. I should be riding out Friday around 8am and leaving Sunday around 5pm...

I just got back from Tahoe, Reno and all that area for the first time and what beautiful country and roads. Have fun brother! It's about 2K miles for me

Not sure yet fellas. I'll just be getting back from a 17 day vacation in the the Caribbean, so I might be too tired to ride up there, lol. We'll have to see. Maybe my daughter in Sacramento might have her baby that weekend and I can kill two birds with one stone!

Virginia City is a MUST, so is Bucket of Blood. The ride to Virginia City is amazing... last time I went my clutch started slipping, so the ride up through the hills and the stop and go in Virginia City was TERRRRIBLE.. but I still enjoyed it. I was sure my bike was going to leave me there. LOL but she held up until I got home.

I used to go there for vacations as a kid (Incline Village - Tahoe). Man, I can only imaging how cool that area would be on a bike - Mt. Rose Highway, Virginia City (yes, Bucket of Blood Saloon!). Is the Ponderosa still there? (My picture in front of the Cartright's wagon). Ha ha.

Once again, one of my inconsiderate friends has decided to get married on the same weekend as Street Vibrations. I am really torn, but I already sent my RSVP, so I guess I'm gonna miss it again this year. I'm thinking about moving up to the Reno area in the next couple months, so I may have a place for visitors to crash in the future.
