Changed the needle back and added half step so it really set on 3.5 rode her around the block and the power is good but this florida weather nice all day till I get her done then wants to pour that what I get when washer when I leave her dirty it doesnt rain go figure So guess ill have to wait till tomarrow to take her on the highway but thanks for all the help guys

So whats the set up like now that you changed it back? The only way to get 3.5, is to have the clip in the 3rd, and add an extra washer, or move the clip to the 4th, and have no washer under the plastic spacer. Where is it now?

Great!,i knew backing off needle clip adj & then adding an additional washer under needle clip would fix your low speed/1/4 throttle lean issue and hopefully improve mpg a bit too along with other tweak you made obviously helped your top end power too.

So since it seems to be running better/well with new carb setup filler up and take a nice full tank cruise on the open road to see if mpg has improved which is something else you were looking to improve & report that back to us.
