calling carb experts 4 Years, 2 Months ago
the bike is a 01
nemesis manifold
freedom true duals
barons big air kit with 1.75 filter

so I have a bunch of questions on the carb as the previous owner did a handful which now doesn't seem right.
the bike originally came with a forcewinder air kit. the fuel mileage was poor but other then that it really runs great. so when I pulled the carb apart I noticed the carb has an adjustable needle with the clip on the 3rd clip. now when I looked at the jets I did not see the markings that give the sizes that I generally see on the jet kits.

question number one. what is the stock main and pilot jet that come on the bike?

now I would rather not buy a jet kit due to the fact I already have an adjustable needle and I can buy jets from the dealership.

question number two. what main jet would you recommend from the dealership.
question number three what pilot jet would you recommend from the delarship.

now I only ask because the sizes differ from the brand jet kits.

now when I was removing the carb I ripped the carb boot.

question number four. what is the part number for the carb boot?

#1
a 1600 come stock with a 165 main and 35 pilot
It would be nice to know what is in there now and the brand. But I think we can get around that.

#2
I would say use a 170 mikuni main jet
#37.5 or a #40 pilot jet
Put the clip in the 4th groove on the needle and pms at 2 -2 1/2 turns out and tweak the pms from there.
Use all mikuni jets and you will be just fine regardless of needle brand

#4 I'll see if I can find it for you

Ok #4 is part # 4WM-14453-00-00 and is about $14 this is the boot carb to filter housing

Stock main on an 01(1600), is a 165 Mikuni(should have the size, and a square in a square, with and R" stamped on it, if it is a Mikuni)
Stock Pilot, is a 35. Should be stamped on the side of the jet. You'll probably need a magnifying glass to read it.

I'd recommend a 167.5, or 170 Mikuni main, and a 37.5 pilot(Mikuni). 2 1/4 out on the PMS

Can't help on the carb boot for the Nemesis, but there may be a rubber connector in the plumbing section at Lowes or Home Depot that might work.
