I've been a member for 5 years. Luckily I've not had to use the roadside assitance. They do keep you up on legislation that affects motorcyclists.

I have been a member for about 3 years. I also have not had to use the roadside assistance. I do get discounts at some hotels and online at some parts stores (like bikebandit). I also like the magazine and I like that they keep me up to date on issues that impact us as riders/bikers. So, it's worth the small annual investment for me.

Ask me about my attention deficit disorder or my pie or my cat. A dog. I have a bike. Do you like TV? I saw a rock. Hi.

I use to belong to the AMA. I never used the road side service part of it though. I belong to AAA with the Recreational Vehicle coverage. I used it once when a tire went flat at 65 mph. I felt the back end get a little loose and pulled off to check the tire pressure. By the time the bike was up on the center stand the tire was flat. Called AAA and 45 minutes later we were loading my bike up. Courteous drivers and clean equipment make the AAA the professional outfit they are.

13 years now. I haven't used any of the services. Wish there were more technical articles. Not sure if I'll pay dues when it comes up again or not.

Was curious about this question as well. Funny how most haven't had to use the roadside service! A true testament to the R* reliablity.

Maybe AMA was established for another motorcycle brand.
