I used to really like the reality tv shows such as Auction Hunters, Pawn Stars, and the like.

Until I noticed a small statement on Operation Repo stating the show is a drama (in other words, scripted).

So I searched on some of my favorite reality shows to find out that most of the folks were actors. Yep, to my dismay the are scripted.

Gene Simmons Family Jewels is scripted. (Used to love the show, now I can't watch it anymore).

I am so skeptical of tv now that I can't watch any show without thinking they've hyped, scripted, and otherwised fabricated what I thought was reality.

So sad.

Someone just told me that Andy Griffith really wasn't a sheriff in Mayberry. This sucks!!!! <grin>

Don't watch much TV. Seems like it's all about the same anymore and the most of it is just plain crap. Guess I'm gettin' old and grumpy.

Girlfriends kid is GLUED to the TV. When he isn't around (or its raining) i watch History Channel and Discovery channel mostly. Sons of Anarchy is the only show i have kept up on in recent years. Girlfriend likes to watch the Kardashians... i like to LOOK at the Kardashians! lol

Samson deadwood on HBO was a real kicker for me. over the years my step dad told me a few stories about fighting at lz xray, we were soldiers. he introduced me to hunting when I was a teen. lot's of great memories. he past away five year's ago.
