Sea Foam is pretty flexible. I think 1.5 oz per gallon is the standard

May I ask a question about Seafoam or is that "hijacking" this thread? I only learned about seafoam from this clinic and I guess mostly guys living in cold climates where they store their bikes for the winter. But for someone like me who rides year round, can seafoam be used on a maintenance basis? I have no carb issues, rejetted ONCE 5 years ago, 60K miles runs perfect - always has. Or would this fall under "if it aint broke, don't fix it"?

Nothing wrong with using Sea Foam. Look at it as PREVENTIVE maintenance. That would be PREMATURE for Jona....

Alot of guys will put a cap-full or so of various fuel treatments every time they fill up. Running a little bit often won't hurt a thing.

Re:Seafoam amount? 6 Years, 4 Months ago
when I use it I just dump in half a can. If (like now) it's not running like it should I dump a whole can. Then ride it hard to get the gas flwing fast to help wash the trash out. The only thing I realy notice while running it is a littel white smoke.
Sea foam saved me from having to pull my carbs on my old madura. If you know any thing about them, thats about a six hour job then you have to ballance the carbs again when your done.
