i have a jr. for my bike, one for the boat, and one for my sons 4 wheeler. they work great

just keep in mind that the jr. only puts out .7amps so if the battery is low its not gunna fast charge or jump start it.

Battery is low, but only about a 1.5 years old. I am not looking to jump it. Just want to hook it up and allow it to charge on its own time.

Thanks!!

I use the battery tender jr for my bike, boat, and lawnmower. Works great as long as you're not in a hurry to charge it..

Two thumbs up for the Battery Tenders.I have a Jr I use for the bike to keep it happy during the long cold winter months.I also have a 15 year old full size Battery Tender that I have used on everything from cars to bikes to snowblowers and it still works great.

I have the Battery Tender as well. I wired the leads right to the battery with the adaptor run down inside the left side panel, and then zip tied to the rear sub frame. I travel a bunch and for some long stretches at times so it's very convenient to just attach it this way and walk away.

I have a BT Plus and a Jr... BT Plus I think puts out around 1.25a and the tender less than an amp. I like the Jr better as long as the battery is fully charged.... remember .. it is a tender. Keeps your battery peaked.

What's the reasoning having the tender put out less than 1 amp? I have a tender that is 1.5 amps that has a micro processer that goes to "float" mode when fully charged. It is Schumacher SEM-1562A 1.5 Amp Speed Charge Maintainer.

Amazon link

It is on sale now at Amazon for 19.99. It has been a great tender for me. I have no complaints.
