I've been across 76 from US23 to Blairsville and then down 129 to 180 and across to Suches. Good ride. Then took 60 to Moganton. Most all the roads in the area are good riding. If you want a skill testing road take 28 north toward the Dragon it'll get your heart rate up for sure.

About the only road that isn't much fun is the main drag right through town when it's clogged with bikes

Pretty much all the roads up around there are some of the best riding you'll find. If you've got a GPS save your starting point and then just follow your front tire. You won't go wrong and you'll have a good time.

I'm going up the first weekend of November and will be riding all day, parking the bike and enjoying some brews at night. FUN!
