You think they look better on top?

Honestly thinking of going with higher bars for comfort... Just so obsessed with that low look. I will put them back on top and see how that feels. I just drew up the seat flat pattern today so the laser operator should have it to me in a few days so i can bend it up and start figuring out where exactly i want it mounted. Now that i have the foot controls I will try to throw them on today just to get an idea of where I want them.... will be leaving them in the front i think now that I am doing the jockey shift thing.

I don't necessarily need higher bars i just need them to be closer to me....

Like these maybe... Just something that prevents me from leaning over.....

The leaning over thing is what I was thinking of. Just doesn't look right. The seat and boards will give you a better idea.

So I got the controls rigged up last night just need to make a bracket and get some more hardware. Also bought a standard banjo bolt with a built in switch.

The clip on bars are uncomfortable no matter where they are, I need something similar to the stock bars but something that looks better hopefully. I am not sure what to search for... pullbacks?

I took a bunch of dimensions for the intake to make a bracket and bought a $10 air filter that i will use the rubber connector from. I had originally bought an adapter that someone specified here but it did not fit the intake or the carb?

Looking good. I was going to comment on the grips with those forward controls as being put into a pretzel shape. Lol. Your imagination is awesome as the build comes along. I know that what's in your mind may not always work out the first try. Just keep adapting! (Hey, it's only money!). Lol

You mind sharing the info on the rubber carb connector? What's it off of, where'd you get it? A link if possible? And a photo would be great too! That's something i've been interested in for quite a while now. Thanks!

Doc,
Our stock carb has a 2.50" outside diameter so I am going to use the rubber flange on this filter to rig up to my harley filter. When i make the brackets and what not i will take a bunch of pictures so it will be easier to understand...
