I installed a run-flat car tire on an F6B rear last Friday. He went on a ride over the weekend with it and called to tell me it performed better than the MC tire. I'm not a huge fan of using a car tire on a MC, but that Run-Flat one took a lot of effort to mount (the sidewall was super stiff). I actually may be a believer now (maybe).

Total nonsense. It didn't perform better than a MC tire. I have more thoughts on that but I'll stop before I offend anyone. There's a reason no one runs car tires on the race track Learn to use your brakes properly and... piss on it. Run whatever you want. I'd prefer to learn to ride properly though. I don't have anything against guys running car tires for putting around and getting more miles out of them. But don't tell me how they perform better than the proper equipment just because you're too stuck in your ways to learn to ride a bike properly.

They don't perform better. They just make you more comfortable in the way that you ride (which is incorrectly).

I could mount a stupid, heavy assed semi truck tire to my bike and rave about the miles I get out of it. Yeah, this thing performs great because I get 4 times the life out of it. No matter that it's flat, way too heavy, and I'm relying on my rear brake way too much because I never learned how to brake properly. It performs great

I'll mount a car tire on my bike as soon as I see Rossi riding with one

I'm not sure I understand your position. Are you for or against it. Lol.
