So it looks like I need a 2 cm wide piece that follows the same line as the stock mounting bolt area as the fork pattern mounting section on the R* forks. I guess what I need to know is how detailed of a drawing do you need and how to get it to you. I can hand draw the piece and give exact measurements and send you a pdf file with the demensions. I dont need anything fancy just a 2 cm wide piece of aluminum. Let me know.

This is another spacer option Lifeguard. You could make them from aluminum rod stock. Since you would have four contact points it would work fine. However for ease of assembly and for your final look you may still prefer your original spacer idea which is good.

That would work. I have a great hardware store near me that sells raw or chrome spacers of various sizes. They are all over the interweb too.

I thought of that too. But after looking on Harley Forum website and checking out how Harley's lower their front fenders I think the spacer that I'm suggesting looks better. There are lots of examples of the spacer like I'm talking about on the internet on Harley-Davidsons.

Apologies for not reading this whole thread first, but I have a ton of HD Fender spacers that your talking about. I've never matched them up to see if the holes line up with our forks. Do they? If so, I have a few I could sell.

I don't have a clue if they do or not. I got this fender and it had already had the rivets drilled out and the stock HD bracket removed.

I found that these years HD use fender spacers that have 3" on-hole centers. I just checked my R* and its somewhere around 4.5" on center with a quick caliper check. One of Warden's sets may have 4.5" hole distance, I don't know, and then they could be decked to the thickness you need. You may want to also check your HDfender to be sure the existing holes will work with 4.5" spacing... or at least that there is enough fender material to allow for holes put in at that distance. If not it can still be done but you'd need more of a spacer-"adapter" made to go from one hole distance to a narrower hole distance on the fender. (Something like the sketch below)

Re:In need of CNC fabrication 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Also remember that the HD bracket is no longer attached as the guy who gave it to me had already drilled out the rivets and removed the mounting bracket so it is just a fender. The adapter you show (the drawing) would work if the fork to fender thickness is correct as I would then just mount up the adapter plate/bracket to the fender with wholes drilled for the bolt pattern and then straight on mount to the forks. So that may work also.

Lifeguard the street glide fender is about an inch shorter then the regular HD front fender. I have a HD fender on mine and it about a 1/2 inch from the tire and my mounting holes in the fender are about a 1/4 of an inch from the bottom edge of the fender so I'm thinking your going to have to have a machined bracket made
