Just remember you don't have to take his 1st offer. Also remember the less his offer is the less the buy back is. My guess is that you will get about 8K.

I think you already know where I stand...... Only way I would buy it back is to part it out and give some of the clinic members good deals on engine, tranny, wheels, forks, etc.... if you can buy it back for really cheap and make a few $$$ on some of the parts.

You already have another roadie that you can keep as a cool around the town bike, I would be cutting my losses and upgrading to a purpose built touring bike with the money you get from the bagger and accessories. You can put all the money you want into a roadie to try and make it a touring bike but in the end as far as value, reliability, comfort, and practicality a real deal touring bike is a much better investment for so many reasons. You can build as many accessories as you want into a roadie but it will never be as good as a purpose built touring bike which is designed and built for long halls.

Right, I didn't take the first offer and got them to give me $500 more for the bikes value. I would only fight it if you think their 1st offer is low though. I wouldn't fight stuff just for the sake of it.

Right. Nada put my bike "stock" at around $4500 thats before you add the silverado items (saddlebags, back rest and windshield). Kbb at almost $5,000. That and the $3,000 in accessories puts me at $7,500-$8,000 to look for. Its a sickening thought but it is what it is. I have the other 02 that i guess i will make a priority to get on the road in the spring but it wont be a long haul bike so no meet and greets unless i trailer the bike . Just a naked cruiser till i can afford a better bike. I was window shopping over the weekend but i cant afford a payment on a new bike right now with julies new car note, my truck note, and two house loans. I need to pay something off or sell the 02 roadie as well to get more money to put down as a trade in.

What're you looking to get out of the front wheel and fender?

I would love to sell the matched set of wheels. Front has a brand new mich c2 and the rear has over half tire life yet. 18x4.25 and 21x3.5

Also the wheel has a 13" disk with a 6 piston caliper.

How about that nifty air ride system you built in the forks

You dont need the ones from my bike to have a set.

Yeah but I could just drop your forks on my bike 😁

I can understand not wanting to break the set up. If the price is right, I'd take the set and the front fender.

Not that I wish you ill, but damn I would've loved to have gotten the wheel set together about 2 months ago. But unfortunately I just bought a new 21' fat spoke front wheel...
