#784272 75kona (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1153 Another clutch thread 3 Years, 8 Months ago   Looks like I’ll be joining the Barnett Clutch club as well… Riding in to work today in 5th gear doing about 65ish and attempted to overtake a semi. Lots of noise not a lot of go… I have already contacted Tim at Metric Magic and he is hooking me up with the pressure plate, gasket, and oil pump gear for a great deal! Good customer service. I will order it next week and make a Saturday morning of it. I feel confident enough to do the job myself with the information that is on here. Definitely a heavier pull and kinda sucks in traffic but I didn't want to go back in there if the springs were to light. Someone on here did a mod where they used a bearing with a groove in the our race. Made a bracket to hold it on to the clutch arm on the case. Ran the clutch cable through and around the bearing and anchored it to the cable bracket.
