I am running basically stock everything and when I hit 80 I feel like the bike is going to buzz apart on me. I would love to be able to at least hit 100-110 and not feel like the bike is going to buzz itself to death. Nothing is loose on her and she only has around 14k miles.

Could it be your wheels/tires? I frequently pull in the cutch at high speed to confirm my wheels/tires are balanced. I loved the Dyna Beads and also the Ride-On now. Smooth as class with clutch in, more vibration with clutch out and engine running. Windshield also vibrates less with clutch in so a lot is coming from the engine.

The tire's im running are a set of Avons (not sure which ones, new this year maybe 2k on them) but I have done the clutch pull as well and when I do that everything smooths out. Plus it just feels like she just doesn't want to go more then 80... Yes I know that we have cruisers and not race bikes but it is nice to let her run sometimes...

You should still have plenty of throttle left even at 80. I'm not saying that these are 120 mph speed demons, but 100 is pretty easily attainable (ask me how I know ). If you're getting a bunch of vibration from the motor then you may want to double check your engine and tranny mounts. Not saying you have to take them all the way out, but one of them could possibly be in a bit of a bind. Just loosen them up a bit and then retighten them to see if that helps relieve any kinks in the system. Guys have reported similar vibrations from installing aftermarket exhausts in a hurry and getting them in a bind as well, causing the vibrations to travel through the hard mounts of the exhaust to the frame.

This motor could pull a three speed!

Its all about your tolerance to noise and vibration. 5th is already overdriven so you aren't going to pickup much more mileage. All you would do with a 6th gear is shift more and drop RPM at high speed. That said you could probably figure out some kind of two speed behind the tranny where the jackshaft is but you will also spend a ton of time and money to get not much.

Interesting... This just might be the issue. As i picked my R* up from a autolot that had her sitting in a warehouse from a pawnshop that someone pawned for a VERY VERY low price and was unable to repay it. I will have to take a look into this on the next cow pissing on a flat rock day ( Rainy day )

Yeah I felt the need for a 6th gear on slab. The interstates almost cry for it in the USA. In Canada we just don't have such a sexy interstate road system. I don't see the need to actually go there unless I want a newer HD with the 6th gear. Not for me. The HD riders complained about 6th being useless and when HD changed the pulley in what 2014? Seems 6th is usefull for them. Perhaps a gear change can help? I know on my 1984 VW Rabbit GTI we would swap out 5th gear for the stock 5th gear (there was a kit for it) to lower the highway RPM's as thier gear was too tall or not tall enough (I forget).
I have not heard very good stuff on the pulley change on the HD's as they all seem to break belts a hell of alot sooner than the factory setup. One guy here swapped back after loosing a belt at 20,000KM. He noticed the pulley is not as well made at the factory HD one. The teeth impressions were not as well defined in the casting. Possible reason?

From the reading I have done on this it seems that the HD 6th gear and now the Indian 6th gear are actually somewhere close to the final drive of the 5th gear of the Roadie. I have not found any reading to compare the Victory 6 speed to the Roady, but imagine the gearing is probably the same as in the Indians.
Pastornj did it originally and several others have followed in changing the rear pulley to a 65 tooth from the oem 70 tooth. You are just trying to reinvent the wheel at a much higher cost considering other options IMHO.

On my wife’s Kingpin doing 65mph the Tach is reading approximately 1800-2000 RPM in 6th gear.
