Try tightening them and see what happens. I lost a little gear oil from the separation but everything above the seal looks dry and clean.........sigh...I am going to clean that lower part of the engine with some good degreaser and then allow it to dry and then take her for a spin. I keep my baby clean all the time but its amazing how dirty she is in the spots you cant see unless you remove things haha...we will see what I can find davej wrote: here is the pic Those bolts may go thru to where the oil is I cant tell. I detailed my engine and dried it off. Ran it for awhile and have it seen anything yet. Moderator Posts: 22378 Re:HELPPP..a leak. 4 Years, 5 Months ago   You have overfilled your gear case oil. Bet money if you pull the big dollar sized plug oil will run out. Tha case has three plugs a drain plug on the very bottom the big dollar sized plug to fill it with and just below the big plug is a small plug which is there to tell you when it if full enough. I haven't touched the gear oil since I purchased it last year but I have only put on about 1000 miles.
