Sounds like it is for sale but someone either changed their mind or got the decline from the misses on the whole auction gamble. No reserve auctions can be rough sometimes.

Sounds fishy. We need a mod to lock this down before it gets ugly.

Fairing has been reserved for a paying member. We have both agreed that if transaction is not made on Friday, it will be back up forsale. Thank you.

And sorry about all the confusion I didn't mean to create a fuss, as stated previously, I wanted to auction it off but my wife didnt like the idea of that and I got yelled at. Plain and simple. So I had to sell it outright, no auction.

I can see where it sounds fishy but its not. I made a deal with warden about 2-3 months back and got all this from him. I consider myself part of the "completely honest crowd" on this forum and Warden can vouch for me.

If she has that much input in how you do things, perhaps you should have consulted her before starting a public auction. I can see cancelling prior to anyone bidding, but once a bid has been made, you should be bound to completing it. Not a very ethical way to publicly conduct business.

I understand what your saying, all I can do now is apologize. Thats why I stopped it before anybody else bid on it.

It is true I sold AKYammy a complete HD fairtng (with a brand new inner, used outer, headlamp, and mounting hardware). We had several emails and PM's setting the terms. Both of us had to show some trust of the other in the exchange and I will say that we both fulfilled what we promised. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

As for the auction changing to a sell? Well, I can only give you my opinion.... I don't believe it is fishy. Even eBay lets you end an auction early. AKYammy hasn't avoided the issue and appears to have responded to every comment about it. If he was up to something otherwise I would expect him to go low key or drop off. So, my opinion (whatever that's worth) is that it is as he is saying and I don't really see any victims here.

Now, lets talk about more important things like oil.
