the cheap Chinese bike covers do that to the windshield. I did the same thing.
I wonder if the that bike had the recall done.

I have time, money, and room. It had to be int he winter when the weather makes it tuough to ride up to DC. I am still thinking about it though. Wonder if the wife would notice I was gone for three days?????

Hell, shipping that wouldn't be but maybe $4-500, I think it'd still be a good deal even after that cost. And you wouldn't have to freeze your ass off either.

Decent price for a stock 99. Only problem is just that...it's a stock 99. By the time you upgrade the exhaust, put decent seats on it, replace the windshield, etc., it's no longer a good deal. You'd be better off buying a 99 that already has all the mods done to it for $2500-3000. If you were looking for a base for a custom such as a bobber, then it would be worth it.
