The Eureka Springs Meet & Greet is what I look forward to most each year. This year was smaller but awesome. I can't wait for the next.
Another Highlight just happened. I took my wife to Fayetteville to look at a newer ATV for her for Christmas. I fell in love with it and she didn't. She saw a brand spankin new Polaris Ace and wanted that. The dealer is also a farm equipment dealer and I was able to trade in a couple of my old tractors on the Ace and we got a $1500 rebate on the Ace. We went to pick it up last Saturday and she used the rebate and a little more and bought me the Atv I wanted her to get for Christmas. She doesn't like to ride on the R*. This is something we both love.
FPB I hope you see this. This past September I stepped on the scale and weighed 270. I was feelin bad because I had no energy after work and my grandkids wanted to have fun.I felt like I was lettin them down. I weighed 230 this morning. I've gotten so used to the diet and eating salad that I actually crave salad. 2016 has been a great year for us. I hope it was as good for the rest of y'all.
Here's to a great 2017.

Being involved with building the Eagles bike was definitely up at the top of my list. I had the opportunity to work with some really great people on the project. I also seen generosity from this membership in sending donations to purchase the bike along with purchasing parts and all the donated parts that were sent.
My hats off to all of you guys!!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!!!!

most definitely NWStarfest was my best bike event of the year...after hunting with rifle for some 47yrs, I took my first deer with a bow in the 2016 deer season so that was my best hunting event...the rest was pretty much a good year ....
Wow. That's saying something. Bow hunting is it here in MI as far as I'm concerned. Only gun hunted for a few years before I discovered bow hunting and how much better it is (simply because there are far less idiots in the woods during bow season). Still love my guns and all, but my trusty Hoyt is it for taking whitetails.
MI unfortunately has a pretty bad tradition of deer hunting. Huge here but everyone feels that they need to get "their deer" and shoots the smallest thing to walk up on them. This is a whole other forum to have this discussion on though
I've moved to trad already...I started off with a hand me down PSE Beast from my oldest son at Christmas in 2012. Got hooked right away and imediately upgrade to a new PSE..It was a bit short for me and I was "torquing" so I moved to a Prim Impact and put an HHA sight on it...Love it...BUT...then I shot a trad.....end of story........................

Running, definitely running . My new years resolution was to run one 5k for each month of the year. I surpassed that goal, ran my first half-marathon in May, along with multiple 5k's in May, June, September and October. I may not be a long distance runner, but I started enjoying the miles I put behind me . We'll see what 2017 will bring...
Oh and starting a new venture/business that hopefully will help me retire young
