How can oil pressure make a valve spring stick? I've run 4 quarts since new in my '05 as recommended around here and have had absolutely no problems. BTW the '05 specs say to run 4 1/2 right?. I believe it got reinforced when Yamaha started putting out tech bulletins to reduce the amount of oil in the bikes.
