Newbie questions 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Ok, I've got a couple of questions about my new Roadie. (New to me....its an 04)
First, I noticed that neither of my two front calipers have covers on the tops. They seem to be the same calipers that are on my vmax and both of them have covers. I've looked at some pics on line and most seem to be coverless. Is this standard?
Second, my choke won't stay out on its own. It feels like there might be three clicks on the choke because when I pull it, it doesn't come out smoothly. It comes out in what feels like three segments. Does that sound right?

No covers is stock. There's a nut on the back of the enriched (no a choke) housing you can tighten so it stays out.

There is a a rubber covered plastic nut right behind the enricher knob, on the outside of the bracket, if you turn that clockwise it will tighten the tension and keep it open. And yes there are a couple of positional detents for it, full out, half out, full in.
