Re: 90° Valve stem adapters 1 Year, 7 Months ago
Thanks for the post Doc. I have considered cast wheels since the spokes are so hard to air up. Now that I know the cast are even worse, I won't go that route. I have a 90 on the rear, but the front is a real bitch with the straight stem that's on it.

I looked online, Motorcycle Superstore has a few different ones, but also in 2 sizes - 8mm or 10mm. Does anyone know what fits the stock cast wheel? Thanks

For the guys with your home air compressor, might look at this..

FYI- That's for bicycles and won't work on your motorcycle or car. Some bicycle use Presta valves and some use Shrader. Shrader is what we have.

Would like to order some but which ones and why did some of you go with low profile vs the standard 90° bend? Was it aesthetics or is there a benefit?

I used the low profile because they are all metal except the seal. The rubber 90s that pull into the wheel like a standard stem tend to break from being flexed (ask me how I know). The screw together low profile types need never be disturbed once installed.

Ditto. You will never go back. Damn things should be 90's to begin with.

Still need to know what size is required for our rims. Is it the 10mm?
