#1010838 mbk (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 2102 Tranny rebuild kit on eBay 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago   If anyone is interested, there are a couple of complete 4th gear rebuild kits on eBay for a pretty decent price. Currently the seller has them discounted at 50% off OBO. I offered him $60 shipped, and was pleasantly surprised when he accepted it. The gaskets are worth more than that if you ever have to open your bike up. The part number for the 1602cc engine recall kit is #90891-10117-00 not the shown #90891-10119-00. Checked against the factory Yamaha Parts system, the ...17 part is for a 1600. The ...19 part number is for a 1700, which doesn't have a 4th gear pinion (or any other transmission) recalls on it. They're not the same kit, not even the same price for them.
