rear axle assembly 1 Year, 7 Months ago
does anyone have a clear pic of the rear axle parts? the one in question is a spacer on the left side that has an O.D. chamfer. my factory shop manual is not clear. does the chamfer face inward or outward? the pieces fell out during disassembly or i would know how it goes back together.

If you are talking about the spacer that fits into the needle bearing it has a chamfer on both sides. I have one sitting in front of me.

The rest of these guys posted parts fiche from a 1600 and that will not show the correct spacers for your 2007 that you have listed in your profile. My pic is the correct spacer for a 1700 and cannot be installed incorrectly.

thank you! that is the spacer that i am talking about! not sure why i did not see a chamfer on both ends. my shop manual does not show this. also the two diameter bushing that goes on last before the swing arm (each side) there seems to be a slight gap between the wheel and large od face. and yes the bushings only install with the small od pointing toward center. the wheel spins smoothly and belt tension set and no slack side to side of the wheel. i can never get a pic posted on the forum,i may disassemble and check out everything again.i have had this bike apart few other times when replacing the rear tire. thanks again.
