lowering rear with adjustable links 2 Years, 3 Months ago
just wanted to know if lowering the rear of the bike an inch and a half would mess up the handling without lowering the front at all. tell me truth, I like the looks of a lower bike but I don't want be scraping or lose handling.

I had the PCS lowering links on mine. They are not adjustable and it handled great. however it would scrape. Hell it scrapes at stock if you corner hard. If you dont already have the links I will sell mine for 40 plus shipping. They are 90 bucks new and lower the bike 1 3/4" Pm me if you are interested.

Put mine back to stock height. Cool looks didn't out weight my frustration having to ride more conservatively in turns, pulling in and out of drive ways, etc.

When I bought mine..It already had the "flip" lowering method done...
Man! Freeked me out how easy it was to scrape the floorboards....(I like to lean!)
Anyway---got used to it. Handles great

I originally had flipped the relay arm, but with the combination of the 18" rear wheel and the roadwing, I had to pretty much run the preload at max just to keep the clearance. When I added to Bassani duals, I was scraping the mufflers on heavy leans.

So I got a set of Barons adjustable dogbones and unflipped the relay arm, relaxed the roadwing a bit and found a sweet spot inbetween.

I have to say, the adjustable dogbones combined with the roadwing is hard to beat.
