It's not really hopping it up(I know, perspective)The 1700 ignitor is plug and play on the carbed models. It'll bump the limiter from 4250, to 4750. That's not much, but it'll keep you out of the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd. I think the oil changes are easy on the Road Star compared to my HD's. No need to remove the voltage regulator to change the oil filter cleanly. plus no need to change primary and tranny along with every oil change...
