Found a pic of my test ride. Was definitely going easy as they were holding on to my credit card

This is the best color scheme of the newest generation R1's, IMO. The first one didn't have enough of that beautiful Yamaha blue. Thought some of you would enjoy this

Fastest I've ever been on a bike was on an R-1. Truly a great ride.

Why does the pic have the 129 on it? you werent at the dragon were you?

US129 photos does track day pics as well. That guy drives up from TN for the weekend.

They're amazing. Couldn't get the front tire to slide if I wanted to. You can brake so hard right to the apex of turns that it's actually hard to believe. Can still spin the rear a little getting on the throttle a little too much/too soon, but that front tire grip is stupid. Coming in to turn 1 with the front forks all but completely compressed, leaned over, and I'm still applying enough front brake that it would cause street tires to slide if I did it completely upright.

Thats awesome. Let me know the next time you go. I would like to be a spectator. What else can you do to the bike? Or is it about maxed out? I see a few bikes in the pics that look like they have track only fairings, no headlights at all while yours are taped off
