Mustang has nice backrest system but they are known to be smaller kind of a hokie map mount and hard on the butt in my opinion the stock seat is better than a Mustang I have a Mustang and I won't use it it's on the Shelf if your stock seat is hard u can fix it but ED is top shelf

I have the Mustang with backrest, and the passenger pad.
Good seat, much better than stock, but I'm 6'1 and had to get used to the fact it moves you up a bit on the bike. Would love to get an ED, but getting tired of pumping money into a 17-year old bike The design of the ED looks like it would be more comfortable and the guys here who have them swear by them.

I will be selling my Mustang seat with backrest and P pad as well. My new ED big tour package gets here Tuesday If you are a bigger guy it doesn't fit you so well, with the backrest built into the rider seat it pushes you forward too. I was going to go back to stock but one 250 mile ride told me that was not going to happen, even with a backrest that sits further back. I was going to put it on Ebay here as soon as I get my ED.

Off topic but what exhaust pipes do you have? They look like my 3" big straights from Hard Krome. Having an heck of a time with back pressure and popping on decel, it even has a PC on it...
Let me know!

Another question.. That seat does look great..
What did that set you back?
Did the factory passenger back rest stay or is that required too.
Thanks a ton!

I have Cobra long shots on the bike. I've put Cobra on all of my bikes, and never had an issue with them.
I bought all four pieces from Ultimate, seat, rider backrest, passenger seat and backrest pad. I'm guessing about $800 for everything. I just put the passenger backrest pad on. The one I had was fine, but I wanted matching because I love to spend money on stuff that I don't really need. Trying to keep up with my wife!

Thanks for all the feedback! Do you like the sound of the longshots? I'll have to see if I can find a video on line. I've had my big straights on for about 5 years now and the backs are rusting out! Time to spend some more money !
