OTB air cleaner question 3 Years, 9 Months ago
I wanted to know if anyone has attempted to fit an OBT air cleaner onto the OEM carb? I was going to order one but am not sure of fitment.

Another good question.
Now that I know what an air bubble is I'll be learning a lot of new terms today..

It says it fits 2&5/8" carbs. I don't know the size of ours though. Curt? Erbman? Anybody?

Doesn't look like it has much filter surface area...not sure on the size of the stock carb.

It will fit on the carb but like it was said there isn't enough surface area to support the R* you will be choking down you performance a LOT. Your better off buying a K&N filter for $40 like a lot of us run.

Thanks Curt for the info. I am going on this one based on takehikes posting of this 2 months ago. He put one on his HR carb but never posted anything on performance. I have a PM sent to him with that question. Someone in that posting asked that question about performance but he originally did not feel it would be a problem. However I am running a Big Air kit with jetting so I just wanted to get better opinions about this rather than just go on mine.
