I need a set of front bearings and wonder i anyone has used something other than OEM successfully. Or is OEM the best/only choice?

The spokes to cast wheel replacement threads have a lot of discussion on bearings. I remember both Ebay and specific mention of rehe spokes to cast wheel replacement threads have a lot of discussion on bearings. I remember both Ebay and specific mention of re[placement bearings. I went with OEM because I felt more comfortable with factory parts.

I use a local motorcycle wheel only guy... been in business here for 30+ years. He replaced all my bearings. Price was real good, too. All the old bearings were returned to me in... All Balls boxes. It's all he uses.
