So my Christmas presents are being installed. Road King bags are now on. Pics to follow. Grips next then then the long over due Roadwing. Then the rear chrome caliper.

So they are mounted but I don't like how far away from the bike they are. Sorry no pics of that. I mounted using EZ Mounts and put together some brackets I made to fit them to the bags. I am going to change how they are mounted by removing the larger side fender mounts to the eye brow mounts with some spacers to allow them to sit about two inches closer. They don't look like it form this photo now that I look at it but they are lower than the top of the fender by about 2 inches. This is the lowest I could get them and still open without hitting the mounting points on the fender. And I don't have a problem with the use of EZ Mounts for this application as I have been using these brackets with extra large Mustang bags larger than the Road King bags for years with no issues what so ever.

Nice job. Looks good.
When you bring them in be sure to keep an eye on clearance for full motion of the swingarm.

Thanks Tykes. I checked that already with the clearance issues and they will not be hitting anything like the belt drive cover so I should be good. I will take some more detailed pics and posting them.
