After a long awaited day above 30, I finally started my reckless fairing project. Although I have to give up my risers with the built in tach. So I think mini apes are in order.... any suggestions ?

I have some similar to these but chrome. I just took my first ride with them today and really like them.

I bought my 1 1/4 apes from that seller for $35+shipping and they were real good quality. He said they were blems but I can't find anything wrong with them.

I also took my first ride with them and I need to make a few adjustments and get used to them in a turn. They do feel good though.

Rode it 100 miles round trip with my son Logan on his 800 Vulcan to Carbonado at the base of Mt. Rainier. Coffee at my favorite roadside stand in South Prairie. At times there were more bikes (some with nick names and some without) on the road than cars. What a fabulous day.
