Finish the Reckless Fairing with all the fixins built in today, also needed to change the handlebars to mini apes. The sound system is phenomenal and will sure beat riding with my ipod. Now if only mother nature will help out, it killed me today to resist hitting the start button.

cut some more wires off and considered removing or modifying the lower rear inner fender - not sure how important it is - and wanting the clearance for the V-Star wheel

Sent my 05 R* to the shop for some gen maint install Twin Vel BAK. Re-jet carb, Port manifold, remove AIS, new pressure plate and some other minor adjustments so I guess I didn't really do anything except trailer it to the shop. On a different note...does anyone have experience installing Venture saddlebags on a R*? Need part number for bags and mounting hardware and install advice.

I worked a little every night last week building and tweaking my bag brackets. I primed them Thursday night and painted them last night. I installed them today after work. I'm one new battery away from rolling.

Took her to the city for lunch at Twin Peaks, and filled the tank twice so she is ready for a better day of weather tomorrow!

2007 RS Midnight Silverado: Popped in the battery in last night and cranked her over. Sounds GREAT! Then today pulled the factory Yamaha bags w/Yamaha OEM liner bags and chrome rails. Took the mounts off as well.
Will be installing DC Choppers mounts for HD bags and then fitting HD 4" Streached bags.
Pulled the potentual trunk mount out and slapped in the OE back rest.
