i'll try taking the fender off, and see how it looks. I have a 21" 80 twisted spoke wheel that will be going on the front over the winter, so I haven't worried to much about he front end yet.

The plan is to pull the fork tins when I change wheels, and go with a smaller headlight.

I don't know what I'm going to do about front turns, but these stock ones have got to go!
As for the floorboards, I may be stuck with those for a while. I sold my set of fwd's to Smokes to use on his project bike, before I bought this bike. I've been looking, but cheap sets of forward controls don't come along very often. Especially when you are looking for them. I've found some for a softail and know that they can be adapted, but I haven't read up yet on how to do that. I think it is mainly the switch to a HD rear master that is the problem.
i'll most likely be cutting the sides off of the rear fender this winter as well.

I don't mind the look of the stock tank either tho, so that is a little low on my list at the moment

PB: I haven't done anything with the crankcase vent yet, I plan on using one of those little filters but for right now it is just hanging loose.

For front turns I got a set of brackets from SS custom cycle that mount from the back of the lower tree that I put some bullet lights on.

They honestly aren't complex, you could probably make the . I can take pics and measurements if you want when I get home Friday night.

Hey if you pull the fork tin and go for the bobber retro look you gotta 86 the floor boards too. Go with just pegs or if someone is willing to sell you for a reasonable price some forward controls maybe.

It's already been demonstrated somewhere here how you can put the rear passenger pegs on in place of the front boards! That's what I intend to do when I rat one this winter.

It's been a while since i've updated any new changes that have happened. In fact not a lot has changed.
I did finally get a bigger seat. It made a big difference in the comfort of the bike. I went with a LaRosa seat.

I also tried to put on my 21" front wheel only to find out that I bought one with 3/4" tapered bearings and that you can't replace tapered bearings with 1" bearings. Just my luck. I really wish it would have fit because I did like the way it looked. So, i'm still going to get a 21" front.

Today I went out and got rid of the large front turn signals and replaced them with LED strips that are located right below the lower tree


I also have a 1700 ignitor box on the way to increase my rev limiter, and a 31T front sprocket that I have been waiting to put on it. n
