Kinda strange, if you type the phone number into google, and check the images there are pictures of tons of motorcycle, boat, house and jet ski ads....

I'm not sure if this means he was going to pass on it, but this was his last post guys.

The thing to keep in mind, as I see it... is he writes me that he took it in trade. Okay, so what did he offer the owner as a trade-in, if he's willing to turn around and sell it for $2k.
And, if an owner knows it's good, why wouldn't he sell it for at least $2k, himself, and probably considerably more, if it were a good bike?
I wouldn't trade a good bike like that, and take just a thou, or say, even $1,800... I'd only be willing to do such a thing as that if, a.) it had some real issue, and I wasn't willing to shell out the $ to fix it, and/or, b. due to some issue, I wasn't willing to private sell it to anyone I knew, or even didn't know... knowwhatImean?
In other words, if it looks too good to be true... we all know the ending to that one!
