What if Amsoil at a Good Price? 2 Years, 1 Month ago
Hey, everybody, I've been kicking this idea around for awhile now. We have oil threads that are clearly among the most popular in the Clinic... and, a good many of us use the Amsoil product, and there is evidence that theirs is the best among all those out there.

Granted, the white paper 'proving theirs was best' was published by them, but all testing was conducted by an outside third party, and the tests conducted are oil industry standardized tests that everyone agreed to subject their products to.

What I am trying to do is to negotiate with Amsoil to provide their product at the very best price to us here in the Clinic... if there is sufficient interest in doing so.

By best price, I'm talking something like $40 per gallon jug and free shipping to your door, in either their Metric Motorcycle Oil 10w-40, which should be best for our bikes, or the 20w-50 V-Twin Oil, obviously created for H-D bikes, but very appropriate to all you fellows south of the Mason-Dixon.

If I can make such a thing happen... how many of you would actually be willing to buy either a gallon jug, or a 4-gallon case, if they can make it price competitive with the Mobil 1 sales for V-Twins that seem to come up each Spring in the major auto parts store chains?

If there's too little interest, I'll let it die, and continue to buy from my local guy, who serves me incredibly well with a good price and free shipping.

I'd hope there might be real interest in 100 gallons among us all here?!?!?

Forb that price delivered ibwould certainly try it....but I'm getting castrol Synthetic V Twin for roughly $33 delivered for a gallon from Amazon (6 quarts for $50). For an extra s7 I would at least try Amsoil and would stick with it for that price difference. However I am stocked up on synthetic oil and K&N filters for the next 5 oil changes so ibwould be buying anything for 2-3 years.

Hey JD....unrelated question....is there a preferred plug wire for using the easy tach? Is one more accurate than the other?

I use 20-50 Amsoil and I would be interesting.
Keep me in mind and let me know if you are able to
put something together.
Thanks in advance.
