Re:Swingarm bag 1 Year, 10 Months ago
I have one that I ride with sometimes. I made a backing bracket/plate from 18 gauge or 16 gauge steel (sorry don't remember). Mounts up nicely without any clearance issues with my setup.

Crap my photobucket account is all screwed up right now I will try to post these after I fix it. Sorry

This is the first spacer bolt to attach the bracket. It has a barrel spacer and bolt.

Here is the side view of the mounting process I came up with.

Bolts onto the plate form the back. It does not hit anything and holds a good amount of what weight since it has a solid steel backing plate for support.

That is Jona's bike ..
I'm just showing the image of a swing arm bag that I'd like to acquire.

THIS is my new look as of Sunday ... after removing the bags, and adding some bling.

I'll see if I can find who made the one I have on my solo bike. It's a decent size. I used the Y bracket off one of the small metal boxes like is shown earlier in this thread, to secure and stabilize the bag. It also is strapped to the upper tube on the swing arm. The bracket holds the weight, the straps just keep the top from flopping around. It's close in size, to the one Jonah had on his bike. It holds Seafoam, a cobweb style strap to secure stuff on the rear fender luggage rack, a Boonie hat, paperwork, owners manual, and a half down other small things. If I organized it, it'd carry a set of Frogtog or Roadtoad rain gear, also.

Here's what mine looks like, and a link to where I bought it. They have two sizes. I got the larger one.
