Looks like a nice heavy duty unit to me. Much heaver than the harbor freight lift I have, and it works great. Congrats.

The pic says the lift capacity is 1500 lbs. Is this a good price? I need a lift for my bike.

Re:Motorcycle lift 7 Years ago
Ya it's not to bad, looks like it is put together pretty well compared to some I looked at. I won the bid on ebay and paid 80.00 bucks less the shipping cost.

Take a look on ebay, they had more of the same up for action. Might get 1 for the same price as aia did.

Good luck!

Re:Motorcycle lift 7 Years ago
I too saw the ones at Harbor Freight but I have a problem with lifting 800lbs with a peice of aluminum. Guess i'll feel a little better with it in the air and a hefty chunk of steel holding it.

Re:Motorcycle lift 7 Years ago
I bought the aluminum one from Harbor Freight and got it for $89. As with all China crap youhave to strengthen or modify to make it usable and/or safe. I added some bushings to the support arms for the lift and am thinking of replacing those braces with some steel from the Depot this weekend. Bike definately wobbles at height on the lift which is a sickening feeling to say the least. Wish I had bought the one from Northen Tool though.
