Thanks everybody. I think I should be able to find something to use with all the input -- for sure.

Sorry I haven't responded quicker; been busy putting down a new tile floor in the kitchen. Actually, I've been ripping out the old vinyl, scraping off the old glue, leveling out the sub-floor, and today I started mudding/screwing down the cement backer-board. Wow, now THAT'S some serious, back breaking work!

My heart goes out to all those floor experts out there. You guys must have iron backs and springs in your knees.

Again, thanks for the photos. I'll take it from here, and let you know if I need something else.
