I called the local parts store to get new plugs. He said they have Autolite 4164's is this a bad idea? Ill go somewhere and get NGK's if needed. 2004 1700

when I had my workshop I used ngk because compared to the other plugs on the market ngk had the lowest voltage required to get the spark to jump the gap, from memory ngk was say 8000volts and champion 12k and bosch about the same. What this means is the spark can jump the gap for a longer period of time all be it in mille seconds
