I bought my 07 in June with 7500 mile and now I have 13000 on it. I have been reading on here since then but have not said a word until now.

The bike has been great and everyone of my friends say its a very big bike, like it a lot and ask how does it handle. Told them if they get one, they would never get anything else. The wife calls it the monster and right now I have the front end taken apart as the bearings in the neck did not feel right not that they were loose just did not feel right. The bottom bearing had water mix with the grease and it started to get rusty but it is okay along with the top. Cleaning them both up, repacking them and I am going to add zerk fittings in the neck to keep the water out. I am also changing the oil in the forks. Other than that this bike is running great. I am not going to say anything about the tires I have on because it will start a complaint topic but I have gone to the darkside and like it.

I put a car tire on the rear (175/75/16) and a rear MC tire on the front (130/90/16). This also fixed the speed "o" to read right.

So what do you feel are the improvements with this type of configuration ? I am thinking of new tires and would consider doing it if it realy did change things for the better
