Added, if anyone is interested in meeting up in louisiana mississippi are let me know, hopefully bike will have its new paint job by next week!
and by the way, new orleans is a fantastic place to have a meet and greet... tons and tons of venues we have access too, hotels, fantastic food and entertainment, and some really great rides out in the country
would love to go out on a long ride with everyone and hit some great roads like this one (sligo rd cr330 st francisville, la)
I am interested. There are a bunch of Star riders scattered along the Northern Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida. Some folks were discussing a meet and greet for that part of the country on the clinic in the last day or two.
One question...would you be able to suggest a venue with place to stay having secure parking for bikes? (been going to New Orleans by car a couple times a year for more than 50 years and I would be concerned about leaving my bike outside anywhere in metro New Orleans) I love going to the area but that is reality.
Probably best to start a new message thread for this subject so everything in this one does not get too sidetracked.

I'm out in the DFW area, but work out of south LA, and my family lives over on the MS coast. I'd love to go to a meet up down in that area. I think somewhere around the Biloxi/Gautier/Long Beach area would be a pretty good venue for a Gulf Coast M&G. It seem like it would be the central most point for people riding from the further reaches of Texas and Florida, as well as attract many of the inland members as well. There's a ton of activities around that area, with Mobile and NO/BR being a fairly short bike ride if everyone wanted to do something. Plus Hwy. 90 is a pretty nice casual road to ride right along the water most of the way too, that's why "Cruisin' the Coast" is there every year.
