I'm supposed to call tomorrow at 11. We don't have to be set in stone yet but I need something to go with to start beating them down on the price.

"The Overton's" are happy with that weekend. We may be camping also.

HEY U KNOW HOW WE RETIRED GUYS ARE, JUST NAME THE DATE AND I'll BE THERE IF I DON'T GET BROKE INTO AGAIN.

I just got off the phone with Letherwood park. We can have the whole park for the 3 day weekend for $2500.00 taxes and all. I know it seems like a lot but we would have the whole place to our selves for 3 days. We could have a band or what ever we want. We can stay up as late as we want. The cabins all have bathrooms and frig. It has a few rv spots tent sites with and without electric. It is expensive but I did just spend $65.00 for a non electric tent site at koa. I've been lied to two years in a row at KOA and I wish to hold this some place other than the KOA from now on. We can also just rent cabins or camp sites from Leatherwood just as we do now and hope for the best if we wish. We would have to pay half down on the whole park by the end of August. It costs $1000.00 per day to rent it so they are giving us a $500.00 local discount for the three days if we decide to do this. I have non Roadie friends that would like to join us to help offset cost if needed. I'm not trying to talk anyone in to this but just throwing it out there for discussion.

That's quite a bit more than camping would be. As long as we have a good turnout it wouldn't be too bad. What about refunds if we don't have enough people?

That is a question I want to ask them. I believe we would have to rent that spot to a different rsc member if we were to take the whole park.
