Eureka Springs. 2018 Meet n Greet 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Let's get this started. I'm just wondering if the KOA works for everyone?? Speak up. We also need to decide a definite date. Remind your friends to read this post.. I'm working near the KOA and will drop by to see what it will take to secure the pavilion. Soon as we decide people can reserve a cabin or site.

Sounds like a deal to the Okies. The pavilion sounds like a heck of a deal and dont mind chipping in some $$$. Don't mind riding in the rain, but sure would be nice to have cover to eat under and shoot the breeze if the weather didn't cooperate.

+1 Karen and I thought the KOA and the layout there worked pretty well the previous couple years, but then we'll be there regardless of when and where we end up.

This year turned out better than I was afraid it might because the Overton's had their camper. That provided a great substitute for a pavilion, but a roof overhead would be a good thing!

Thad, when you talk with the KOA, find out if we need to bring blankets and such for the cabins.

The KOA is fine. While it worked very well in 15 and 16 I’ll say 17 at the lake wasn’t to bad either. I look forward to another several days of rides, visiting and the overall escape!! Any location is good with this group so either will be great, and if the Wild Overton’s bring their Chuckwagon all the better!!!

Ride safe or stay home ~Phil

I'm good either way Koa or Leatherwood last of Sept or Oct early. Had a great time and I'll see if I can come up with some new jokes, but with CRS the old ones will be new to me.

I did like the convenience of walking up to my Cabin at KOA when I was ready to go to bed. Could have done that at Leatherwood too, but wasn’t sure if I’d be solo on the room/Cabin again like ‘16. I DO like the pavilion, the size of the fire pit, and there was a lot less traffic through the congregating area. Level surface, the tables are not wet in the morning, etc. I truly attend for the people and the riding. The venue is a secondary part of the experience from my perspective. I want a roof and a bed, because I spent enough time “camping” in my Army days. Other than that, I’m flexible like Gumby.
