Attaining a Painfully Low Seat made by Dragger next week. http://draggerseats.com/order.html I have a Big Ed seat for long rides, a studded Corbin Seat for coffee runs, and decided to get a used Painfully Low seat for expresso runs.
I can change seats in minutes to change a look or feel of the ride. The Big Ed is my all time favorite, but like the Corbin seat for shorter runs on the other bike. Figure the low seat would be fun for short rides also. Turning one of my bikes into a mobile repair unit for the business and tax write off. Decided not to sell my 2nd Road Star as they are not made anymore and consider them a collectible item. When I find a part or something a bit different for the bike I buy it. Since I work 6-7 days a week and cannot retire, may as well have a hobby that I really enjoy, plus take to work in the summer conditions permitting.
I figure the painfully low seat is good for a hour or so before my butt starts telling me to get off the bike.
As crazy as it sounds if I could get a 3rd Road Star I would, but 2 are enough, one non bagger, the second a bagger (mobile repair) bike. I am not a tall person, 5'8", 30" inseam. Getting the P.L.S. more out of curosity.
All that being said, The Big Ed seat is the bomb for long trips and comfort. If I ever sell the bikes, keeping that seat and fit it on my drum stool.
Anyone here have the Painfully Low Seat, and how do you like it? My guess one will sit lower providing more of "in the bike feel". I imagine hitting a pot hole will not be fun, nor long rides. Getting the bikes out of storage soon.

I have one on my '07. I can't say how it feels for rides an hour or longer but I have a pretty good idea. It sits you low and almost "in" the bike. I love the look and feel (short trips). Alex was great to deal with.

Frosty, your seat is a looker. Actually, of the items I have attained for the bike, the seat purchases I find exciting. A seat changes the ride and feel of the ride. For scooting and blasting around, looking forwards to the painful low seat. The Corbin seat is hard, and an hour is no problem. Thus going to the PLS will be no problem.
Going to stick the low seat on my 03 RS, and install a set of Freedom Duals with Thunder Monster Baffles and make some noise.
sitting lower will be an interesting experience.

Just wait until you ride with the PLS and then switch back to your plush ED. You will feel like you are sitting 6 feet above the bike.

I'm looking at the dragger seats currently. Haven't decided which one. But with the mustang seat on there now I feel like I do in my lifted truck as compared to a stock height truck. Which is what I want in a truck, not a bike

What about the potato chip seat from Pacific Coast Star? I heard it was comfortable. I currently have the Ultimate(love it), but would like to have the more down in feel.
