Will a 1600 seat fit a 1700 ? 4 Years, 10 Months ago
I'm looking for a stock riders seat for my '05 and am wondering if anyone knows whether the seats from 1600 & 1700 are interchangeable ? PS - if anyone has an oem (non-studded) seat they'de like to sell please PM me. Thx !

Yep, I did that before I got my E.D. I put a 1600 seat on my 04' ...I thought it was more comfortable than the big 1700 seat.

Yes and no. Possibly maybe. Ok They are interchangeable. The 1700 seat is slightly larger than the 1600.

Good to know, thx ! Perhaps I will seek out a 1600 seat if possible since I like a smaller look. I have a "Potato Chip" seat on right now and it's good for around town but after a long day of riding I can feel the seat pan on my tailbone.

I have stock 1600 seats, used for ~14k ('03) I have stock 1700 seas used for ~11k ('06) All in great condition
