Yep, there it is. The original post asks what you do for a living. That's my answer. He didn't ask what you do for money

If I asked what do you do for money it would've gotten quite entertaining

After 4 years in the Navy, stationed in Pearl Harbor, got out and went to work for UPS, among the first 6 people to be hired on in the state of Florida. Drove delivery, and semi for awhile for them. Left and went to work for the local natural gas company as a repairman. Left there and went to work for ATT, and did all kinds of stuff there, Light Guide cable protection, and the last 15 years as a power tech. 24v and 48v power plants, and the diesel generators. Retired after only 35 years. Retired in 2004. Man am I getting old.

I got a Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College. I continued my education including Six Sigma, EDI Programming, Microsoft Programming Languages and Computer Science training...

Oh wait, that's not me, I'm thinking of someone else..

I started college when I was 16, screwed around and never went too far there. Starting running boats down to Florida for the winters, then began staying there year round. Lived on the beach until I was old enough that the spring breakers called me "sir". Time to move on.

Went up to Minnesota to pick up a boat. The plan was to run down to Cuba but I picked up a little IT job there and spent the winter in MN instead.

Headed back "south" to sweet home Chicago, and now I just do 'puter stuff...

Really the first job I had the required shoes.
