This thread inspires me to try again to wear my Joe Rocket in the heat. It's 82 degrees right now. hope it works out.

sorry to veer a little off topic. Just back from a short ride. mid 80s. Not too bad. there were times if i didn't think about it, i forgot i was not comfortable. when i got back after 30 minutes, my ass was soaked and my tank top was not much better. if i had to wear it if it was much warmer, i think i'd sell the bike.
I'm 63 and retired with no one dependent on me if i get hurt or worse. when i started riding again this year i accepted the risk. full armored gear, while bettering our odds are no guarantee. i'll wear it as often as possible because i think it is smart, but i don't want to feel i'm in a sauna. guess i'm just a sissy.

Is your joe rocket jacket the mesh (net type) material?

I bought a Joe Rocket Phoenix mesh jacket a number of years ago with the removable armor, zip in and out liner etc. I wear it pretty often and consider it to be a nice quality product.
One thing I will say is mine is a 3X size. Ive had a few people ask me about it when I had it on and I suggested they try it for size when they say they would order one of those in a XL or 2XL to fit them correctly.
The one I have would never fit someone who wears a T shirt of the same size as indicated on the jacket label. It fits like a full size or size and a half smaller than you would think.
