Hi Gents,
I just completed a Ride to Savannah/Tybee Island and mid ways thru the trip it seemed like my bike would never warm up.
On start off it stumbles and coughs thru the carb as the trip progressed it got worse. I run Premium fuel always it is the 1700 and has 7600
miles on her. The original owner I bought from had it rejetted For a leaner mix? (I think) He works for Yamaha . when I take out the main what should it be?
The Service was done Back in March and all 4 plugs are near perfect. Any ideas? No mods have been done to the bike.

Run some seafoam through the tank, for starters.

No need for running premium gas in it. They'll do just fine on regular gas 99% of the time.

Premium fuel is for high compression engines. Ours is a low compression engine. Use 87. You may be carboned up. Seafoam according to the directions is always good. Have you checked your intake filter lately?
