Installing GPS - What wire to tap 10 Years, 3 Months ago
I'm installing a new Zumo 550 and have all the wiring run under the tank with the factory electrical. I need some help with the choice of what wires to attach to at the battery harness . I can't find any schematic and Yamaha or Garmin does not show. I was going to install an accesory plug under the seat direct to the battery but would like this thing to be on the main switch.

Thanks

You can look at / down load / print out the manuals here for free. It has a schematic in it.

Hey, thanks Musky. I went to the web site. I noticed there was a supplemental for 04 with 1700cc. Mine is 05, would the wireing be the same before I get into it.

Thanks again

The 1700 suppliment has a wiring diagram so you might as well go with it.
