I have the electric pump on mine and thought about ditching it since I have never readjusted after initial install.
Is it possible to just remove the pump and put the proper size bolt along with new crush washers through the banjo fitting on the end of the pump?
If the banjo fitting is 8mm, will it take an 8mm bolt and nut to do the job?

I never hooked up the pump on mine. Its actually a bit firm when I ride solo but with my lady along its really great. I just wrapped the hose with elec. tape and hid it behind the side cover. if you drain the hose at the shock end there will not be any oil left in the preload piston or the hose. A rubber plug would work in the end of the bango fitting to keep the dust out.

The preload collar is a zero clearance unit. There is less that 2cc of fluid in the preload unit when it is at zero. You can simply install a bolt as a dust cover and ride on.

Waiting for time to install the RAP I bought (didn't want to mess with all the wiring under the seat to install the pump).

Just want to get the experts input.

I went ahead and purchased the bushings and SS Shims from McMaster as Tykes recommend. Pressed out old bushing and installed one of the new brass bushings along with the SS Shim, looks good. Pressed in the second brass bushing with shim on the other side and the shim does not seat all the way against the shock like the first side. The bushings are butt up against each other inside the shock mount, but I have a .035 gap between the shock mount and the shim on one side. Is that going to be a big deal? Like I said the two bushings are seated against each other in the shock mount itself.

does anyone actually know how much oil would go inside the shock itself?
I was thinking it would hold a little bit but i can't even get one small syringe of fluid in it.

Not sure if this url will post, but Smokes made a real good video on bleeding the Roadwing. It doesn't take that much at all.
